Last Saturday, 30 March 2013 – I got a chance to attend PDD – Professional Development Day organized by PMI Kerala Chapter at Trivandrum facilitated by Mr. Madhavan S. Rao, who is an author of book “Steering Project Success – What More is Possible?”
Was a useful informative and refreshment event for people who deal with projects and teams in day to day life. We had people from different industry domains but still IT was higher. Whole session was interactive and not boring even though it was a full day event.
Three experiments/pseudo projects conducted which gave great messages:
- Three knifes and 3 bottles
- 9 dots on square
- Make a hole in A4 size paper and go through it.
The video played – “The new business paradigms” which was motivating.
Insights and discussions happened on:
- Challenges in IT Project Management
- 7 Mantras for Project Manager
- Mindset Change
- Snowballing / Institutionalizing
- Perception Management
Here is the certificate I got:
